School Lunch Program

We know it’s important for all kids to have a healthy lunch if they are going to succeed in school. This is why we’ve developed our flexible School Lunch Program to help support school administration with providing their lunch programs.

We commit to providing a Main Item + a Fresh Item (fruit or veg) for each lunch, examples can be found on Our Lunch Bags page. Our pricing and delivery schedule can be customized based on your school’s needs, and include ‘Pay What You Can’ or discounted pricing to ensure your school’s lunch program is successful and no child gets left behind.

    How It Works

    Delivery

    We can delivery from 1 to 5 times per week based on your needs and school facilities.

    Schools with refrigeration and microwaves typically receive 2 deliveries per week.  Locations without the ability to store lunches, or high-volume locations, may need daily deliveries.

    Pricing

    Every school faces different challenges in their lunch program, so we have a variety of methods to accommodate your budget.

    We can apply discounts to our pricing, use charitable donations to offset costs, or work on a Pay What You Can model which may involve variable rates from week-to-week.

    For schools that are well funded we typically charge $5 per day.

    Our Food

    We offer a variety of hot and cold items, with vegetarian options, that are all packed locally and delivered fresh.

    Some examples include Meat & Cheese Sandwich, Pasta (Hot Lunch), Rice / Stir-fry (Hot Lunch), , Meatballs with Tomato Sauce (Hot or Cold), Mini Pizza (Hot or Cold), or Mini Quiches (Hot or Cold).

    Vegetarian options include PB & J Sandwich (with Seed butter not peanut), Salad with Beans, Mac & Cheese (Hot Lunch), Plain Cheese Sandwich or Hummus with Pita.

    Food Safety

    All of our staff members have a valid Food Safe certification to ensure proper handling procedures are always followed.

    This includes following our Food Safety Plan which details receiving, storage, preparation and shipping processes for all our lunches.

    We prepare all meals in a certified commercial kitchen and stay clear of any common allergens.
